“I have never had as great an experience with a realtor as I did with Nick Piraino. Mr. Piraino and I started working together back in December of 2019 to sell a house that I would not be able to put on the market until March of 2020 due to the presence of a tenant. Back in December, Nick gave me an estimate of what he thought he could sell the house for. This gave me the information I needed to reject the tenant's lowball offer to purchase the home. Nick then worked with me to sell the home and took care of all the details, managing the contractors who were needed to get the house ready to be sold. This help was crucial as I was selling the house remotely from FL. Then, out of nowhere, the coronavirus hit and the shutdowns started to really pick up right as we were about to sell the house. I thought for sure we would have to settle for a lower price than we had initially imagined. To my amazement, Nick was able to secure a sale price that was just over what he had originally estimated! “My wife and I started working with Nick in July of 2016 on our search for a new home in the Newburyport, MA area. We had a sizeable list of things we were looking for in a home; Nick was able to digest all of the information we provided him and present us with many listings for homes that matched what we were looking for. He did a great job of suggesting towns and areas of towns to add into our search based on where we wanted to be. Throughout our very long search, Nick was excellent at communicating with us - and that proved to be crucial as we had many hiccups during the process. We had been under agreement on a home in the fall of 2016, just down the street from where we finally settled, but it fell through and Nick took this in stride. We continued our search and ended up purchasing a new construction home. As there is a lot to deal with in new construction, communication/understanding of the process was crucial and Nick proved to be a great partner to have on our side. Overall, I can certainly recommend Nick for anyone looking to buy, sell or rent in the Newburyport area. He truly understands the local real estate market, has great communication skills, is personable and willing to help out in any way possible.
